I'm wondering whos the guy on set who decides to leak this? This was actually reported when it happened, I think last fall while they were still filming. I bet the DP released it.

Somebody should have decked him in the middle of that tirade.

Taken = 5/10

Liam Neeson was pretty good. He's a retired CIA/intelligence/black ops guy whose daughter is kidnapped in Paris and he goes and gets her back. I had no real expectations going in other than wanting to see a decent flick and it achieved that for me.

I really liked it.  More than anything, because it didn't try to be anything more than it was.  It is EXACTLY what the trailer says it is.  A guy goes to get his daughter back and kills a lot of people along the way... not really giving a shtein about anything or anyone else.  It's a good way to spend an hour and a half, (another good thing about it) where you just want to chill and watch an action movie.

3.5/5

I agree on all points and thats what my girl and I said after it was over; It wont win awards and it [Denny Green] was what we thought it was![/Denny Green]...a good action flick and the 90 mins was perfect timing.

Rome

The Bale things is hilarious.  The excuses people are making for him acting like a two year-old are funnier, though.

HE WAS IN THE MOMENT!  OMG HOW CAN YOU BLAME HIM FOR ACTING THAT WAY?!

Well I do not think anyone ever deserves to be talked down to like that, esp at work, but according to some reports this guy is a young guy who kept repeatedly fixing the lights while they were filming. This particular scene is supposed to be the emotional climax or something between Christian Bale's and Bryce Howard's characters and this was the 2nd time during the filming of that scene he walked right behind the actress.

Still no excuse.

It's not the lead actor's job to tell off the crew anyway.  The director should have taken care of it.

Bale's a douche.  He was still awesome in "American Psycho."

Rome

It actually reminded me of the Chris Berman and Casey Kasem tirades.  You have these fargin entertainment Romes acting like their jobs are hypercritically important and anyone who has the temerity to screw up their personal genius should be berated and humiliated.

Then they're indulged to the point where they actually have the people they were screaming at apologizing for or rationalizing their behavior.

Burn all of them to a crisp for all I care.

Tomahawk

I watched Youngblood for the first time in like 15 years. That movie is not at all as good as I remembered.

Rocknrolla and The Changeling (original steez) are en route to my house. I'll report back at my leisure.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

The BIGSTUD

The Orphanage:

Good solid movie. Seems to turn into a sort of Pan's Labyrinth later in the movie, but still solid. Not really scary, but definitely interesting and suspenseful.

B/10

Snow Angels:

Good movie. One of the best of 2008 for sure and Sam Rockwell is excellent in it. Haven't seen him in many movies, but he was very good. Kinda depressing movie all around, but still keeps you interested and you care about the characters.

B+/10
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.
