"The Big Easy" is one of my favorites.  I have it on DVD and watch it from time to time.  I know it's weird but I thought Ellen Barkin was sexy as hell in that movie.

i've flown about 15,000 miles in the last week or so, and have seen a whole buttload of crappy movies.

The Queen -  meh.  both the lady who played the queen and dude who played tony blair were pretty good, and i was actually interested in the story, but it's pretty slow and i fell asleep before it was over.  wouldn't mind seeing the ending, but don't really care either way.  some might like it.

The Guardian - united airlines really likes this movie.  i've actually seen this 3 times in the last week.  not all the way through the second two times but just the better parts.  and it was actually better than i thought it would be.  pretty standard story, not a whole lot of surprises, but i enjoyed it.  mindless and entertaining.

Little Miss Sunshine - seen this several times already but I was so bored on one flight that I watched it in Spanish.  still the best movie of the year.

Invincible - already saw this before too, and i'm a total fag, but i when he scores that touchdown i get teary eyed for real.

Holy shtein I could not agree more. All of the pieces were there for this to be a fantastic movie. Great actors. Potentially interesting story... it fell WAY short of its potential. In fact I don't think anyone should even bother seeing it.

Wish I had known that  before hand. I was really excited about it just based on the description and the legend behind it. Oh well. The first half of the movie had promise so I'll just remember that and forget the rest of the movie happened.

Boring, directionless, dragged out, ended at the wrong time.

Wasn't a fan at all. Disappointed.

My first television was a black and white model.  Amazingly, that television lasted until I got to college, so for maybe 10 years I watched everything in black and white.

Ditto. I used to love watching TV at my parents' place because they had a nice color console TV. Not that the colors were very good back then...but it was still color.

friends with money - excellent ensemble cast and a highly intelligent well written script make for a very very good movie....comes in at less than 1,5 hrs too...so nice these days to have a movie under two and a half hours...it was crisp to the point and jennifer aniston was surprisingly good...see it

just saw a ghost rider commercial this morning.  that looks like the dumbest movie ever.
