Anyone seen a good movie lately?

I must be old.  When I saw the commercial for that shtein, I thought it was a joke.  Then I thought it must be for some geek-ass video game. 

When they said it was for a movie, I laughed out loud.

I saw the commercial for the first time (at least that I've paid attention to it).  I have to admit, before I remembered your post on it, I went through exactly the same reactions:

- It has to be a joke.

- It has to be a video game.

- Holy smoke, it's that movie they're talking about on the board.

I think Demon and I are about the same age, which is probably a heck of a lot older than you.

And yes, we both have children.  Though my second is still in the cooking stage for a few more months.

But before you laugh, remember I used to be young and making fun of those "old guys" before, too.

Also, I tried to watch Old Boy the other night.  I made it through about 30 minutes before it got pit back in the Blockbuster envelope. 

I just couldn't shake the Koreans having the same accent as my accountant neighbor, Steve.

I haven't seen the commercial for 300. It's being pimped all over MySpace in ads, though. I'll have to check it out.

That's just because most of TV/Movies when you were young were still in black and white.

If that wasn't so true (and sad) I would laugh a little.

My first television was a black and white model.  Amazingly, that television lasted until I got to college, so for maybe 10 years I watched everything in black and white.

agree with the people who say it is overrated...thats said its a nice little movie....i wish gran pappy hadnt bit it so soon...he was the best part of the movie

also watched the big easy for the first time ever this weekend

dennis quaid had one of the cheesiest movie accents ever and it was hilarious how it came and went...but ...he was still great in the movie and i enjoyed it quite a bit
