The movie trailer is crazy. I like how they didn't even bother to put any sex in it at all. all violence and glory. shtein, I get porn at home, you know?

Just finished The Dead Zone (Stephen King, Christopher Walken).

Pretty meh. Lots of potential so I might read the book, but there didn't seem to be any real buildup.

Back when I read every single King book ever (6-9th grade) I liked the Dead zone, movie was only watchable b/c of Walken.

Both of those are WAY up on my list of movies to see. The 300 looks sick.

I must be old.  When I saw the commercial for that shtein, I thought it was a joke.  Then I thought it must be for some geek-ass video game.

When they said it was for a movie, I laughed out loud.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Watched Dodgeball on FX a few nights ago. One of the better movies out of that whole pack of actors these days, but not nearly as good as Wedding Crashers.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Wedding Crashers had a good beginning and a good ending.  The middle was lame.

I though Dodge Ball was better, but this is really arguing about which retard ran the 40 in the Special Olymipcs faster.

Dodge Ball was awful. It was over the top, beat you in the fave, humor. Not one ounce of subtlety. And a guy who thinks he's a Pirate? Jesus.

He was good as the voice of the robot in "I, Robot" and filling in for Hank Azaria in "Spamalot" on Broadway.

Just watched Old Boy. The ending was farged up in that typically Japanese-film sort of way, but the movie was farging outstanding. Good stuff.

i think the opposite...the middle when they are at the summer home is by far the best part of the movie...it falls way off at the end...in fact its about 20 minutes to long
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Went and watched Rocky today finally, I needed something to cheer me up after yesterday.  I just about lost it when they said fighters fight.  The movie was excellent.  It was a good ending to an American institution.

What kind of joke would it be?
