according to netflix, they sent me Munich on august 1st.  i just watched it yesterday.  good movie, i wish it didn't take me so long to watch it.  it's hard to committ 3 hours to a movie, but it didn't seem nearly that long.   good shtein.

Just wanted to remind you all that on September 12th the original Star Wars flicks will be available on DVD. This means no crappy CGI, no Greedo shooting first, and no stupid dance and song routines in Jabba's Palace. Supplies are limited so if you ever have any desire to watch the originals I suggest you buy them since Lucas is such a stubborn ass.

they wont be in limited supply

and these versions are the single biggest rippoff in dvd history.

all three movies are not formated for HD tvs. they arent anamorphic widescreen. so if you have an HD....then you will really be pissed off. dont buy these

Don't buy them then.

My kids made me rent Bring It On: All or Nothing

I hated just about every character in this film, including the "good guy" who she ends up with in the end. The supposed "bad ass" black cheerleader who the main character butts heads with, was about as intimidating as a Radio Shack employee.

Despite the fact that it's a total shtein movie that I was forced to watch, I give it:

Father Demon

Blockbuster sent me Scary Movie 4.  I asked the postman to wait a second, and I opened the package, sealed it back up, and had him take it in that days mail.

That was the best 4 seconds I ever spent on a movie.

"Grandma's Boy" is so farged up its hilarious. It's one of those movies when you see a part and think "that is incredibly accurate, who the farg comes up with this shtein?" But you say it in a good way.

So does the lotion rating mean the movie made you want to touch yourself?

I inexplicably watched The Dukes of Hazzard last night.  Whoever the hell that guy is that played Bo -- I think I'm never watching another movie with him in it.  He peaked in American Pie, and then was only OK.  I'd ask rjs to add him to his ghoulpool list, but that would guarentee he never dies.

The movie itself get's a 1/2 out of five, but Jessica Simpson and her Daisy Dukes and bikini gets a 4.75 out of 5.

If only she couldn't talk or try to sing, she might be the perfect woman.

The Illusionist  :cfhead 1/2
I gave it an extra 1/2 because the acting was half decent, unfortunately the plot sucked hard and was predictable.

Feva

Watched 3 movies over this weekend:

Unleashed - Not bad for an action flick.  Great fight scenes, which you can expect in a Jet Li movie... wish there were a few more though.  The movie actually went a little bit deeper than I expected.  I mean come on... it's about a guy who fargs up everyone and everything in the area when you take his dog collar off his neck.  Morgan Freeman, even in a relatively shallow movie for him, still shows why he's one of the top actors walking the earth... and even better than a ton of actors who aren't anymore.  Entertaining enough.   :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead out of 5.

Inside Man - Pretty damn good movie.  Not your typical Spike Lee joint.   I like his stuff, but it was nice to see one that's different from his others.  Denzel was great, as expected... as was Clive Owen.  Interesting plot... and it kept you interested for the most part.  Jodie Foster's got some great farging legs.  :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead out of 5.

Million Dollar Baby - Maybe Mrs. Feva and I were the last two people on the planet to see the movie, but hey... I really enjoyed it.  Everyone who got their Oscars in this film earned them, IMO.  Great acting all around... and I loved the way Eastwood lit a lot of the scenes.  Again... Morgan Freeman is the shtein.   :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead out of 5.

This movie isn't out yet but I have been anticipating it for a long time.
