The walking through the flames was farging awesome. I loved it. What a beast. I like people who don't let anyone get in the way of their goals, and that actually have the desire to accomplish something.

So I watched White Noise tonight it was a decent movie.  It was right at the most important part of the movie and boom my TV freezes fine it was On Demand so I hit the fast forward button and the little icon comes up and it still doesn't do anything.  No big deal so I shut off the cable box and the screen goes black but the FF icon won't leave the TV screen so then I turn off the TV and turn it back on and it is still there and the cable box is still not on.  Finally I unplug and reset the box and everything is normal again the movie starts up close to where it was.

I know it isn't a big deal but it is kind of funny I was watching a movie about supernatural occurances with electronics and that weird crap happened.  My roomate and I both started laughing about it we were waiting for a face to appear on the screen.  Whatever.

V for Vendetta was one of the movies available to watch on my flight from Brisbane to LA. 14 hour flight. I couldn't watch more than two minutes of it.

Wow..  that's bad.  On my trips to and from Ukraine, I watched both The Weatherman and North Country.  I was that starved for distractions.

I drew the line on Just Like Heaven.  That was was turned off in about 4 minutes.

I did manage to watch Cinderella Man and Walk The Line, though.  So it wasn't a total loss.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I read a 600 page book on that flight. Had to buy another one in the LA bookstore for the flights to Dallas and Philly.

Sin City was more of a fun, violence/hot chicks/explosions movie. V was not nearly as testosterone-laden and had much more subtle acting/writing/purpose. I loved both for very different reasons.

Sin City had both Jessica Alba & Rosario Dawson in it.

It was simply the greatest movie ever made.

Period.

If you didn't know, the movie was based off a comic. The story is taken from the comic.

and he obviously didn't resist fire. He was pretty much a mutant after all the burns.

It was actually based off a graphic novel and DC comics purchased the novel and made it a movie.
