Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Don't let your wife make you watch "Failure to Launch". Extensive Terry Bradshaw ass nudity. You'll be begging to have your eyes washed out with acid.

Also, it's a no-surprises-formulaic-seen-that-done-that "romantic" "comedy". Yuck.

I watched Tigerland lastnight, it is an excellent military film. I am suprised I have not heard more about it. It was very well made and they did a good job on the technical side too.

Watched Brazil this weekend. I thought it was good in the same way that every doom and gloom little man fighting against big brother in the future is good. It had some decent humor and was a bit more subtle than most Big Brother movies, though still not very subtle. Of course being subtle in those movies is next to impossible because we've all been beaten over the head with Big Brother messages, so can't really complain about that. The surreal storyline was interesting. Too long, but overall a very good, entertaining movie.

i found nothing enjoyable from jesus chris vampire hunter...i rented it about a year ago. it had such amazing potential to be bad...but it was unwatchable.

Everything is Illuminated is an indy film that I think a lot of people here would enjoy.

so someone just signed up for blockbuster the other day, and i guess they accidentally put in my email address to join. which means i get all of the emails. which is weird because i can see their credit card number and everyhing and their name is not even close to mine.

anyway, i changed the password to poop and have been messing with their queue. just got an email that this movie got sent out today.

It must be real easy to do. The same exact thing happened to an account someone used my email for. I also changed the password, and filled their queue with fag movies. I followed it for about two weeks, and saw each movie get returned in aabout 1 day, only to be followed by another gay movie. After two weeks, they cancelled their account.
