She's kind of weird looking because she has basically no hips.  But I'm not holding it against her.

watched The Weather Man last night, really dark, dark comedy which I wasn't expecting.  Nicolas Cage is so good in these kind of neurotic bordering on crazy roles.  It was a little slow but several subtle but very funny parts.  Definitely worth a watch but I think you have to be in the mood for the humor, reminds me of I Heart Huckabees or The Life Aquatic.

I thought Life Aquatic was decidedly more tongue-in-cheek funny and Weather Man was more contemplative and dramatic.  That's just my opinion.  I could be wrong.

Did you also want him to shoot the retard from Death to Smoochy in the neck with an arrow?

Yeah, the life aquatic was definitely funnier, i think mostly because bill murray is so awesome.  to me this was the prototype for a 'dark comedy' and i think cage pulled it off pretty well.  i feel like he's that way in real life.  when he called the dude a porkfarg i laughed my ass off.

The flashback scene about the tartar sauce had me laughing pretty hard, as did the whole thing with his daughter and being called "cameltoe".

QuoteDave Spritz: [thinking to himself] Tartar sauce, tartar sauce, tartar sauce. Tartar sauce, tartar sauce, tartar sauce, tartar sauce. Man, how'd I'd like to put my face in there. Right in there. Tartar sauce. My hips are cold. Tartar sauce. That's when you know it's cold. I like eating p*ssy. Tartar sauce. A lot of guys don't. Well, maybe they do. Maybe it's just black guys. Tartar sauce. What happened to the guy who was trying to go around the world in a balloon? Did he make it? I should put some espionage or stolen plutonium in my novel. Tartar sauce. Spice it up. Neil Young. farg it's cold. Neil Young? Why am I thinking about Neil Young? Neil Diamond. Neil. There aren't a lot of famous Neils. Is this Wednesday? I wish I had two dicks.

Then, he comes home without tartar sauce, uses the excuse that they were out, and the wife threatens to call the restaurant.  That was pretty good stuff.  And I wish I had two dicks too.  That would be cool.

QuoteLOS ANGELES - Now that George Clooney's an Academy Award winner, he and his crew are returning to their thieving ways.

Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon will star in "Ocean's 13," the third flick in their franchise about a gang of lovable crooks, distributor Warner Bros. announced Monday.

A supporting-actor Oscar winner for the oil-industry thriller "Syriana," Clooney will reprise his role as leader of the pack Danny Ocean, with the group pulling off a new heist in Las Vegas.

Clooney's producing partner Steven Soderbergh, who made the 2001 hit "Ocean's Eleven" and its 2004 sequel "Ocean's Twelve," will direct again.

Julia Roberts, Clooney's love interest in the first two movies, and "Ocean's Twelve" co-star Catherine Zeta-Jones will not be back for the third movie, according to Warner Bros.

"It was a script issue. We didn't have a place to really use talent like theirs, two big stars like that," said Jerry Weintraub, the franchise's producer. "They're very good friends of ours, and neither Soderbergh nor I would prevail on them to come back and do nothing just to do it."

Weintraub said if the filmmakers hit on a good idea to include the actresses, there was a chance Roberts and Zeta-Jones could return.

The studio expects the rest of the cast, including Don Cheadle, Andy Garcia, Bernie Mac, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould, will return. Joining the cast will be Ellen Barkin.

Production is scheduled to start in July, with "Ocean's 13" due in theaters in summer 2007.

at first my reaction is, why?  but then i realize, when you can make 150 million by trotting out the same old crap that stupid sheep will watch, why not?

When I first heard of this, I was quite confused too.  The drop in quality from Ocean's 11 to 12 was huge.  Then, I realized that Ocean's 12 still made money, and this group of actors probably just loves hanging out together, even if the movie they're pumping out is craptastic.

Plus, I don't know how they could make 13 worse than 12.

12 was awful.  i almost slit my wrists when that frech fag was dancing through the lasers

How about "Tess" pretending to be Julia Roberts?  That might have been the worst idea ever in a movie.

SunMo

actually, i laughed so hard i cried during that scene.

i mean, it was hilaroius.  she's really Julia Roberts, that's why she looks so much like Julia Roberts, get it?
