What on God's green Earth made you decide to watch The Pacifier? Did you have your balls surgically removed this weekend?

Wife/mother-in-law/grandmother-in-law all wanted to see it.  Father-in-law and I wanted to make sure they didn't whine about a different movie we chose.  Easy decision.

Getting married in the first place is like having your balls surgically removed anyway, so yes... sort of.

I can admit to renting that POS movie. The lack of anything else in the newer-title racks forced me to take a chance.

It was a poor copy of the thing that had Hulk Hogan in it.

Suburban Commando. That's exactly what I thought of when I saw the commercial during the superbowl.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Yep, that's it. Probably something like the newer thing with Tommy Lee Jones. I'm so glad the Hollywood writers have such great imaginations!

"Downfall"  excellent movie about Hitlers final hours.

Oh, snap!

P.S. Also saw "The Pacifier" over the weekend. Formulaic and predictable, it's watchable if you have small children or need a "clean" movie for some reason. About a 3/5.

My mom bought The Pacifier for my kids a few weeks ago and my kids liked it, which I suppose is the important thing.  I can't say it was a "bad" movie but I've seen the same story a dozen times before.  Since my kids are only 8 and 5 they haven't had the opportunity to see the same plot based movie get regurgitated over and over and over again.  They will though.

This will surprise no one, but "Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo" has thus far garnered very few positive reviews... so few, in fact, that it's currently theoretically worse than "Gigli".  Wow.

I like Ebert's review:
Quote"Deuce Bigalow" is aggressively bad, as if it wants to cause suffering to the audience.

From what I saw of the previews it looks like a complete rehash of the first.  The only difference is why he is whoring, and to whom he is whoring himself too.

Saw Wedding Crashers and Constantine this weekend and the ladyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed both. WC was one fo the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Watched "Cellular" over the weekend.  Decent quick-hitting flick.  Good rental.
