We started watching Mr. Smith Goes to Washington in my government glass today. Maybe it was the mood and atmosphere of the class, but we are laughing at totally unintentially funny things in that movie. If you're ever high or its 3am, this movie will surely make you laugh.

Consider the environment in which that movie was made.  It hasn't aged well, but is still interesting from a historical standpoint.  Maybe more so now, since it ends with a filibuster.

That's rather inaccurate, since Raimi won't release what role Topher is going to play, it's really not fair to categorize him as a "villain".

Oh i know. But the 30's slang was really funny, and also there was this ugly kid with horrible teeth that we kept laughing at. Plus, we kept comparing this dude's house to the Neverland Ranch cause he had loose kids hangin around.

A life aquatic.

Great lines in the movie....one of bill murray's best.....I give it at least 9 out of 10...at least....it was a good movie. Funny as hell.

Really? A lot of people I know said it wasn't that good. My roomate rented it lastnight so I'll have to check it out.

For lack of a better vocab...I would say that the comedy is 'sophisticated'....it's not 'look, he got hit by a bowling ball' funny...its delivery and content.

i rented some movie named Cellular and saw it out of sheer boredom.

it sucked.
