Did whoever sold you The Chart offer to throw in The Brooklyn Bridge or Arizona ocean-front property for a small extra fee?

Check your receipt for their return policy. I do believe you were sold defective equipment.
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

Hitchhikers :yay guide to the galaxy review: If you like quirky British humor then this movies for you. Lots of funny 'Ha Ha' jpkes to move the story along. overall, I'd give it a  :cfhead :cfhead  :cfhead out of a possible 5.

I heard audition was crazy ish. I heard it from TV. Which doesn't lie.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

"Hitchhiker's Guide" was OK.  Stayed true to the book for a while, then gave up completely.

Good movie to see in the theater.

Clearly you're not familliar with The Chart. I'll spare you the details, but it shows that I'm always right.

This movie was a gosh awful piece of crap. Great effects, and funny moments, along the same lines visually as the Potter series, or "The 5th Element" but nowhere as entertaining or intriguing, and that's not saying much. My 13 yo son liked it, but I didn't hear him so much as ooh, awww, or chuckle. He also didn't talk much about it after leaving, which tells me he wasn't impressed, just happy to see a movie. I had to walk out a few times and regain conciousness. During one such break, I caught 10 minutes of a subtitled flick called "Kung Fu Hustle". I left there with a smile and a chuckle. The effects were awesome in "Hustle", and it was pretty good. I reccomend that one, but "Hitchiker" was a big dissapointment. You can tell it was based on something pretty good, but somehow that got lost in the multi milliondollar special effects.

Kung Fu Hustle -  :yay

Hitchhiker's Guide -  :boo

The NFL old standard.

The book was phenominal, and the movie was disjointed... because the screenwriter of "Chicken Run" absolutely mutilated Douglas Adams' screenplay.  It was enjoyable to see certain things from the book on the big screen, like the whale and the bowl of petunias, but the whole ending is horse-crap.

General_Failure

The book, the radio show, the tv show, none of them really match up to the others perfectly. That kinda makes it hard to say exactly how the movie should have gone.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PoopyfaceMcGee

True, but I do know that Arthur and Trillian are not supposed to fall in love.

General_Failure

And I'm pretty sure Zaphod's second head is supposed to be on his shoulder. Blame TO.

The man. The myth. The legend.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Yeah, I thought that too.  The neck thing was off-putting.  I blame Bowa, though.

General_Failure

We should stop blaming these guys for stuff they had nothing to do with. It's obvious a karma thread would have fixed these problems before they ever started. Blame Chuggie.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Oldboy -  saw this flick a few days ago.   mind numbingly farged up.  leave it to the asian cinema to scramble your brains.  I recommend it.   ;D
