It's only good if you were able to comfort her by touching her brownstar.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I saw an anime movie last night....called 'Grave of the fireflies'. It was a story about the firebombings on Kobe in Japan during WWII. It was through two childrens perspective. Depressing. One movie I've watched that changed my mood like that. Yes, its anime, but wow....I give it props for changing my emotions like that. If you rent it, check out the dialogue with Ebert (from ebert and roeper) and check out the 'history' part of the bonus feature. It sheds light on one particular part of the story that unless you really, really were thinking about it, you wouldn't have known otherwise.

I was not aware that over 300,000 civilians died as a result of those firebombings and over 500,000 I believe were left homeless or injured...one of the two.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

i saw that flick a while back and had the same reaction you did.  In fact I think that anime was more disturbing than any live action flick could be on the subject.

Saw Keep the River to your Right.
A documentary about a artist/anthropologist who ventured into the peruvian rainforest and lived with a cannabalistic tribe for a year and then left after he witnessed another tribes murders and then the eating of them, which he took place in also.  He goes back after 45 years in search of this tribe in Peru.  Its basically about his life before and after and the demons he had to deal with after that experience.  Some parts are weird, ala homosexuality(discussion not porn) but overall I though it was interesting because i admire those who are true explorers and not just tourists.

I did a CF recommended weekend.  Donnie Darko and Garden State.  You are one depressed group of people right here from rooting for the Eagles and watching movies like these.

I liked them both, though.

She don't look right as a blonde.

The man. The myth. The legend.

She don't look right as a blonde.

She'd look right with any color hair.  :)

The movie is black and white for the most part and you don't really notice.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I saw it this week, and despite knowing the ending, I had to fight off that misty feeling. The chick I was with kept asking, "you're not crying, are you?" Nope.  :paranoid

It was a very good flick.  :yay
