jfk was incredible....probably the best ensemble cast performance in movie history

I found it to be mind-numbingly dull.  And I'm a history teacher.

even if you didnt like the story or pacing its great just for the performances...its a three hour acting clinic

NO. It was three hours of pretentious bullshtein. I enjoyed it when I was 13. As an adult it might be the worst movie ever made. Everyone in it should be ashamed.

I have never ever met anyone or read anything that has put JFK in the upper echelon of filmdom. I'm not even talking about top ten lists, I'm talking about even rating it as a classic. Or as an overall 'good' movie. No one. Anywhere. Or as anything other than pretentious bullshtein. I've seen plenty of people who said the acting was good. And that's fine. But to say it is a top ten all time movie is... actually, I can't even think of an effective way to put it. I spend so much time telling people that whatever they just posted is 'the stupidest thing anyone has ever said' that now I have no effective words to express my disgust. JFK is atrocious, unwatchable, MADE-UP, horseshtein.

And Joe Pesci is gay.

JFK was a farging mess.  Costner was an embarrassment as Jim Garrison.  It was bloated, self-indulgent exercise in cinematic masturbation just like most of the other films Stone did after Platoon. 

Salvador was a good movie because I like James Woods and John Savage was excellent in it.
