Just saw Children of Men.  Very good.  You care.

Thought that didn't come out till Friday, so instead I went and saw Rocky VIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

:cfhead :cfhead :cfhead.5/5  Really good but Sly had a few too many facial close ups in which he was trying to be "deep."

Fletch:  Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a water buffalo.

yeah, but you're proud that you watched LiT 50 times.

Like 50 times. That could be 30, it could be 60. I didn't count. I just know I watched it many times. I also own the DVD and I watched that too.

But I did accomplish one thing I wanted out of it. I finally after seeing it so many times am interesting in trying some black toe.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

Talladega Nights was definitely NOT as funny as I thought it was gonna be, but, there were some parts that made me LOL.
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

I'll bet V for Vendetta is top five. that is incredibly accurate.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I guess I watched Talledega nights hoping for Anchor man and it wasn't that. The kids going off was funny as hell and there were some laughs in there. Other parts were painful. Sometimes Will Ferrell movies take a few viewings to warm up to though.

Saw Night at the Museaum with the kids the other day. It's not a rip roaring comedy or anything but the kids seemed to like it. I think it's more of a kids movie. Mildly entertaining but not really.

The best line from the kids in TN was at the dinner table: "You made that grace your bitch!"

Saw Pursuit of Happyness and Night at the Museum over the course of the holidays.  Both were alright.  Probably not something I'd go out and watch again but if it was on I might keep it on the channel.

Yeah, frankly... if someone didn't like it at all, you have to wonder what they were expecting.

Some of the deleted/extended scenes are funny as shtein, too.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I saw The Da Vinci Code

It was ok. Not as bad as I heard everyone say, but I didn't read the book so maybe that is why. Plus I had really low expectations going in. That french chick was really cute.

I think I have the Blu-Ray thing set up wrong on my new television.  The Mrs. bought "Invincible" today and brought it home for us to watch.  I inserted the disc and although the screen looked excellent, the sound sucked ass.  I had to turn the audio up to 90/100 just to get a decent sound out of it.

I guess the numbnuts who hooked it up will have to come back out and get it right.

PS: The broad who played Vince's wife is still hot as hell.    :drool

You had someone set it up? What kind of man are you?
