Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Finally got to watch Invincible. Good movie. Had that Disney over explain thing going but it I liked it. Great way to start playoff weekend.

I saw it last night as well.  GREAT way to start the playoffs.  Wahlberg did a credible job.

I almost puked when they drank the horse jizz.

Watched Raiders of the Lost Ark again recently. Still a pretty good way to spend a few hours.

Jackass 2    -  had me laughing numerous times
Lady in the Water:     horrible from start to finish
World Trade Center:    .   Good during the intense parts, average otherwise
Devil Wears Prada:    1/2 good acting by Streep.  Rest was crap
Talledega Nights:    1/2  A few good laughs, otherwise nothing special.  Sacha Baron Cohen's role could have been much funnier.
Little Miss Sunshine:    1/2   good, not great.  Overrated by too many people.
Invincible:      Since it was an Eagles story....  if it was any other team it gets a 2.
The Descent:     What a horrible pile of crap this was.   Most overrated movie of the year. 
Beerfest:  1/2   A few good laughs, could have been better.  The Germans were great though.
A Scanner Darkly:    1/2  after 60 seconds of animation I wasnt amused anymore.  too much boring dialogue.  A couple good plot twists.

I saw The Magnificent Seven over the weekend. 

Other than Yule Brenner being the worst ethnically cast cowboy ever, it was a really good movie.

hey SunMO,  that is a great flick.  If you have not seen Seven Samurai yet you should check it out.  Magnificent Seven is actually a remake of it.

Glory Road-  1/2 played their cards right and  it was fine. basically followed the same formula of remember the titans, we are marshall, invincibile, rudy and all those family style inspirational sports movies. good acting, good basketball scenes. nothing special, nothing bad.
