hangover III was really stupid and forced.

should have stopped after one and let it be the great movie it was.  instead they ruined the whole thing with two piece of shtein sequels

Have you seen the previews for Last Vegas?  First thing I thought of when I saw it was that this is the direction The Hangover is heading in.

Expendables 2 - Guns, blood, guts, explosions, bad acting, cheesy tough talk, blah blah blah.  Went a little overboard on old movie references, but whatever.  They did manage to squeeze in one of the Chuck Norris Facts, which was kind of funny.  Good mindless action flick.

Watch 'The precocious and brief life of Sabina Rivas'

Depressing and realistic. Most likely will need subtitles unless you speak Mexican.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

The Wolverine. This did as well as Die Hard 4 did in ignoring common sense and logic, but it also ignored comic book stuff about the character and things that were established in the other four movies. Nothing made any sense, and there's no reason to care about any of the characters.

If you're bored one day, and there's nothing else to watch, don't watch this. It isn't terrible enough to be entertaining.

Wow, that's pretty bad.

I was about to watch 'Oblivion' the other day before renting the other one I posted...and I just thought, Tom Cruise movie...he get's into some farging trouble after he discovers some truth, and there are explosions, and running, and near death, and he ends up living and saves the day.

Granted, that's pretty new in movies I suppose, but I'm glad I didn't watch or won't ever watch. I'm throwing Wolverine into that heaping pile of non-watchable movies as well.

When does the next Hobbit come out?

oblivion was not worth it.  the shame of it is, the concept could have been good, but it just wasn't.

Just caught an advance screening of Thor in 3D IMAX. Fanfargingtastic. Better than the first one. It's on an Avengers level.

I watched Riddick. First half was almost good, second half was rushed and dumb with a five minute section where they decided this was a sequel to XXX. They spent a few minutes writing their way out of King of the Space Zombies garbage from the second movie, but there's just no saving this franchise. That's a shame, because before they went beyond Vampire Dinosaurs there was enough interesting background stuff to make it more interesting than a lot of awful sci-fi crap.

so i watched world war z this morning...i feel like everyone here was killing it but i thought it was a really good zombie flick. more zombie action than most movies. nothing like the book but who cares it was fun. would watch again.

also saw the to-do list. don't watch it. i only watched because i heard there was an aubrey plaza masturbation scene in it, but you see nothing. although rachel bilson is a hot dirty whore in it. but you still see nothing. and connie britton is the sexy mom.  still not worth it.

Saw it with the family yesterday. It was good, and it was better than the first one by a good bit. Marvel does a great job with the character tie-ins. The 3D didn't seem to add much, though.

agreed about this, i think people would have liked it more if it didn't have the name of the book attached to it.  but based on the style of the book people had to know that there was no real way to make a movie from it.
