you walked out?  different tastes in comedy i guess.

I thought the best minutes were the first thirty, and it never got back to quite those levels, but it was easily one of the funniest movies I've seen the last 2-3 years (partly due to that being funny, and partly due to comedies being so bad recently).

ice grillin you

yeah comedies have been atrocious lately....I dont think it was a classic or anything but it has some unreal funny shtein in it and it was easily the best comedy since forgetting sarah marshall...which is what five years?...it certainly wasnt walk out bad

btw hangover is overrated as shtein
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

hangover og was solid....definitely overrated but not a bad movie by any stretch

the 2nd was a disaster and i have 0 interest in seeing the 3rd seeing as its not even supposed to be funny
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

Just got back from the theaters, thought it was pretty hilarious. Only complaint was there was too many moments were nothing funny was going on.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Yeah FSM came out in 2007 I think.  No one ever talks about that movie but its my favorite comedy of the last decade personally.

ice grillin you

its not my favorite but its right up there and is way better than things like the hangover 40 year old virgin or anchorman which all get more love than they should

comedies almost have to be looked at in two ways....first viewing and replay value...for example the first time I watched superbad I thought it was hilarious and def better than sarah marshall...but superbad does not hold up under multiple viewings whereas ill watch sarah marshall anytime its on tv...ill be honest tho half the reason might be mila kunis....jesus shes hot in that

another underrated comedy is knocked up

imo wedding crashers is still the y2k goat tho

I thought the original hangover was good but overrated.

Munson

1. Wedding Crashers
2. The Hangover
3. Forgetting Sarah Marshall
4. Superbad

I'd have to think a lot harder about the rest.

Rome

I personally never got the Wedding Crashers craze.  Vince Vaughn's a douchebag and Owen Wilson looks like someone hit him in the face with a bag of quarters.  It's a funny movie, though.  But it's not the greatest anything by a long shot.

ice grillin you

thats cause you prefer loud slapstick in your face comedy like will ferrell

wedding crashers was much more nuanced and used sarcasm and dry humor a lot.....which for me is much preferable to the goofiness and yelling of the other guys....who is that idiot that was in step brothers with ferrell....hes another talentless cranial lump who resorts to lowest common denominator stuff that caters to middle americans.....how did he even get into comedies to begin with?

vv in wedding crashers gives an all time great comedic performance.....he should have retired right after that movie...I just think about him in that and crack up

I can't think of a comedy from the last ten, maybe fifteen years that I've liked.

It took me six hours, but I thought of a couple. Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Tenacious D: Pick of Destiny, and Zombieland. That may be the entire list.

The man. The myth. The legend.

ice grillin you

those are pretty much all terrible so you can re re edit and go with your original thought
