I wonder how one justifies seeing Batman and not seeing Star Trek.

Didn't like the original Star Trek. Don't like JJ Abrams stuff. Simple enough for me.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I can't wait to go watch Star Trek after all of the hype. I'm gonna go watch it wearing sweats and no underwear, that's how bad I want to go.

i'm far from a trekkie but i do like star trek.  just not enough to go see it in the theaters.  so just like every other star trek movie ever made, i'll wait for it to come out on dvd or something and then, maybe i'll watch it.

Star Trek was good.  The cast did a great job.  Wish they would have found a better villain though.

Wolverine -  As to be expected good action and special effects. The story was just weak. The beginning was slow. Some scenes I found myself questioning the point of of some of them, totally irrelevant. I think they made his character more like-able and less violent than what he seemed in the comic. The lack of blood just so kids can come watch the movie is really a crock of shtein and hurts the movie, but its all about the money. I did laugh though that the final battle was at three-mile island here in lancaster county.  2.5/5

"You Don't Mess with the Zohan" -- bad but not as brutal as I thought it was going to be.  Worth at least 1 viewing if you're a Sandler fan but otherwise skip it...

Star Trek: 3.5/5

I actually really enjoyed this. I have never seen a single Star Trek show or movie and had no idea what I was walking into. There were somethings that I think missed cause I do not know all the back story but what I saw was pretty good. I actually felt it should have been a bit longer to flesh out some of the training scenes in the beginning.

they filmed a lot of the iron man scenes on the base i'm at.  they're filming a lot of the sequel here too.

apparently this base is used for a lot of scenes.  the desert scene in the beginning of transformers was filmed here and same for independence day.

ever see the honda commercial that shows 2 doods driving down the "singing highway?"  that road is about 10 blocks from my house.

you care.

they started filming iron man 2 today and about 90% of the filming from today was done at the hanger that i work in.  of course, 8 hours of work is probably only going to produce about 90 seconds of actual footage, but it was really cool to see it from behind the scenes.  i was a background extra but should be easily recognizable as i will be standing about 3 feet away from don cheadle in one scene.  i'll be autographing 8x10's at the sd tailgate.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You don't mention a Don Cheadle movie without referencing Mouse or Earl "The Goat" Manigault first.  I would have thought your Uncle IGY taught you better than that.

I saw Lovely and Amazing earlier this week and was sort of surprised by how not-awful it was. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that it re-enforces the fact that all women are f'ing crazy. Anyway, Emily Mortimer does full frontal and has a freaking massive bush.

Oh, and I'm really excited about Drag Me To Hell. It's going to be Sam Raimi awful and Sam Raimi awesome all at the same time.

I'm really curious how "Inglorious bastiches" is going to turn out.  I havent looked forward to so many movies in quite a while
