oh really?  it wasn't magical cosmic powers that caused them to lose?  interesting theory.

Cosmic powers aren't magical. Two totally different things. Dummy.

saints lose to open the door for the 2 seed

I believe this was never possible, because the Saints play the Panthers, and if the Saints record was bad enough for the Eagles to take the two, it would go to the Panthers.

Eh, I guess the Eagles could have had the conference record over them if they lost to Atlanta.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah there were one or two scenarios that allowed the Eagles to get the two seed. I don't recall them exactly but when I was fiddling around with that playoff projector I had them up at two twice

Zanshin

It would be fun if the Eagles made the playoffs this year, because I didn't expect it. But you guys realize this team is still not all that good, right? They've improved in a number of areas, and Vick isn't starting, which is great. But it's not like I ever watch them and don't expect the duct tape to fall off at some point. The biggest problem is that secondary. There's only so much they can do to mask that problem. If they win the next couple of games, they'll have accomplished something. After that, let the chips fall where they may.

Ha ha, you said, 'Chips', there's only one Chip.

This.  They are not that good.  Shady is a beast, Pimp is playing great, like the progress Foles has made, O Line is playing better but the defensive secondary is an abomination.  That bunch isn't going to improve any time soon.

More Cary: "I'm glad we lost. We needed to get knocked off so that we could re-evaluate what we got going on here, & we need to get better."

General_Failure

I'm glad he's terrible at his job and that there are so many terrible players out there with him keeping the team from getting big heads.

The man. The myth. The legend.

I hate to say i said the same thing Sunday.  Happy it was against Minny vs the last game of the year.

yeah ok at 32 years old cary williams is finally going to become good at football because his team lost to the 3-9-1 vikings
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
