Leaping over the defense at the goalline is fine. Leaping over the defense at midfield has a high probability for a fumble. Just sayin'.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I think everyone just wanted the Eagles to put the ball in the hands of your best player/players in that situation.

3rd and 1. Line up in the I, have a power set with two TEs, and just try to run it up the gut. Run it towards the Thomas/Herremans side. They are big enough guys to create some room. Plus, that little flare pass to Tapeh was to the short side of the field.

So on top of being a crappy play call Andy gave his players less field to work with. Awesome.

when your season is on the line & you're driving for the go ahead TD in a playoff game, who better to get the ball to than thomas tapeh?

the answer is anyone.

lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

The funny thing is, Reid will keep calling these goofey plays and at some point on a 3rd or 4th and 1 you'll see Reno Mahe running a pitch-out 25 yards down the sideline on a blown defense coverage - and all the announcers will be gushing about what a brilliant call AR made.

That will never happen. Ever.

The man. The myth. The legend.

it will happen the game before Jeremy Bloom is fully recovered and finally ready to step in as the return guy. Also, I think Andy frequently dreams about the 4th and 1 Reno pitch-out for a long TD. Just a hunch.

Anything over 5 yards is a long run for Reno. He gets gassed at the 7 yard mark.
