You want them to be more like Germany, but the problem is they'd come out like Japan. The creepy part of Japan. Cartoon crayfish porn everywhere.

Chicago Tribune in 1966.

A lot of that rhetoric sounds awfully, awfully familiar.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

It's all the same

Problem is, the people in 2015 like to pretend that they wouldn't call these protesters "violent" or "thugs" if they just "Did it the right way" like King, who they always forget was treated as a violent thug by a lot of people lol

What exactly is the right way to protest? All I've seen in the last ten years is cops arresting people regardless of how they do it.

Borgata's MLK special menu on Monday...who the hell thought this was a good idea?

http://www.phillymag.com/news/2015/01/21/borgata-mlk-menu-isitracist/

QuoteNot surprisingly, response to Deeb's question has been mixed. But after thousands of tweets about the controversy, the casino has issued a statement from Borgata senior vice-president Joe Lupo.

"Our general manager of the restaurant is an African American female who wanted to come up with the menu to celebrate and honor Dr. King," Lupo says. "We allow our managers to run their restaurants. She did research and came up with an authentic recipe. It's very clear that these were his favorite foods."

The Borgata also points out that some of its restaurants offer other holiday-specific menus, like Mexican food on Cinco de Mayo, Irish food for St. Patrick's Day and Mexican fare on Cinco de Mayo.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

SD

What is racist about that menu? It's southern style food that African Americans eat. They served the exact same meal onboard our ships every mlk day.

Rome

that does it!  no more corned beef & cabbage on st patty's day!!  whiskey & guinness are still approved, however.  you know, because irish are drunks and shtein.

General_Failure

Okay, but what do they serve on Cinco de Mayo?
