padres are also a bit of a sleeper

red sox make too much sense...but they could easily wait until the deadline and maybe just pick up lee then for much, much less. nobody in the AL east is that good, and boston should be fine until the deadline. if they still need hamels then, he will still be available.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Sounds like the Kemp deal could be unraveling

So what happens to the Jimmy deal then?

QB Eagles

It would also unravel. Or Rube would just complete the trade for some other zesty player, and Zach Eflin would go on to have a HOF career on the Padres.

Geowhizzer

Rollins trade official.

The Phillies get:
Zach Eflin
10-7, 3.80 at Lake Elsinore (California League A) last season.

Tom Windle
12-8, 4.26 at Rancho Cucamonga (California League A) last season.

i'm interested in seeing how nola and crawford make out next year.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

Wonder if Grit goes to the Yanks now?

Grit for Eovaldi?

Geowhizzer

I just threw up in my mouth a little:

QuoteWith Rollins gone, the Phillies will likely use Freddy Galvis and Cesar Hernandez at shortstop.

Maybe Steve Jeltz can come out of retirement?

All I know is, Crawford better be the real deal.

crawford and franco will probably start in AA, so long as they arent total disasters in the spring. so will nola.

i actually like galvis...i realize he cant hit but give him some at bats to find out HOW much he cant hit.
