Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The Jags stink. Can't tackle, can't hold on to the ball.

The man. The myth. The legend.

im not saying you have to have a true one to win....you obviously dont....but if you are gonna go with a offensive savant as your head coach I just think you should load up your system with great players and become unstoppable....the eagles should be #1 or 2 in offense every year under chip kelly

Agreed...the Eagles should have Russell Wilson (for Chip's offense) at QB, Megatron and Antonio Brown (Maclin is still a legit 3), Jamaal Charles backing up McCoy, and Jimmy Graham at TE. Why isn't this happening?

All terrible hyperbole aside - the main point is, don't cut one of your two real weapons and then not replace him.

I agree with igy. If you have a clear strength over everyone (Chip being a great offensive mind), exploit it as much as you can. It's the same as Lebron in basketball - yeah he's good enough on his own for his team to be at the top of the league, but give him a bunch of real players and his team is unstoppable.

even more so when you dont have the best defense around....altho its played above and beyond what any of us could expect this year

I'm just asking how the Eagles are supposed to acquire all these offensive weapons. Or are we saying letting go of Jaccpot was dumb? That last question cannot be debated...getting rid of Jackson was terrible.

for starters they could have not resigned kkk

they could have drafted kelvin benjamin instead of that pos MS3

theres lots of things you can do other than making up fantasy trades for calvin johnson

QB Eagles

True, they could have drafted Kelvin Benjamin. Or they could have just as easily drafted Marqise Lee, who was higher on most draft lists and who has totally sucked so far, and would currently be sitting on the bench for the Eagles.

Exactly

But to his point, re-signing Kkkooper was also dumb. And Casey Matthews

ice grillin you

well no matter who you draft at any position they have to actually become good for it to work...but even marquise lee would be much better than kkk in this offense

also pretty much any educated football fan knew that kelvin benjamin was better than marquise lee

anyway the point is go crazy on offensive additions to the roster

three guys at each spot im looking for....not saying all will be available at the eagles exact pick in each round and they may be drafted because of a trade up or back but this is who I like...also included the 6th round as i cant imagine the eagles wont make a move to get a pick there

first round
kelvin bejamin/brandin cooks - WR – love both of these guys...benjamin would be the eagles alshon jeffery a playmaking deep threat that will go up and get it rather than outrun you.... and cooks would be the eagles more athletic version of a wes welker/danny amendola...impossible to cover out of the slot but with even more quickness speed and yac

second round
donte moncrief - WR – ridiculous talent...have loved him since high school...they dont take a wr in the first this would be my target

fourth round
martevious bryant – WR – this may be a low for him but with how deep this wr draft is he could be a 4th round steal...got length and can stretch the field...not many like that in this draft

sixth round
john brown – WR – return man massive playmaking ability

The "true #1 receiver' is a bit of a red herring in terms of what their passing offense needs. They are pretty much the worst team in the redzone and could be undefeated if they were just a little better.

Teams that move the ball well between the 20s look good in the catches and yards column and teams that do well in the RZ look good in the wins and losses column. This is where the WRs need to do better in they want to win a SB. Granted the QB and play calling are also at fault. But if the idea is to win the SB you probably won't do it on the shoulders of a big play take the top off the D speed guy like DeSean. 40+ yard plays are effective, but unless the stars line up just right, by the time you get deep into the playoffs you're probably going to hit a wall if you're only getting 3 from inside the 20.
