i thought SOA was pretty fun early on but yeah i watched an episode a few days ago and it's legit laughably bad.

like why are any of you still doing this gang thing? no one makes any money really.  there's no reason for anything that happens.

they got into a nonsensical shootout every episode and nobody ever died...oh really the main guy is gonna get shot in the face at the 25 minute mark of episode 4, season 5 when an unnamed asian gangmember gets him. ok.

also they were running around northern cali in full biker gear and nobody ever broke a sweat

i like the white kicks look but yeah dude you're rolling around in dirt all day scuff them up a bit.

they have these big dramatic meetings like he's the CEO of a billion dollar company when really it's about one kilo that they stole from the asians and need to get rid of.

i'll eventually catch up with this season just to laugh at it and wait for jax to stab his mom in the face. because that's how it has to end right? or maybe gemma is the last person standing, i might like that better.

thankfully all of the bad guys using the automatic weapons to shoot at samcro are horrible shots from 5ft away or that show wouldve been over in season one.

still, it's a gizillion times better then the sheild which might be the worst show. ever.

shield even with its faults has to be a top 10 all time show...its easily the most entertaining show ive ever seen and that includes you know what

I started watching the Shield on Amazon Prime, maybe it was not being in HD, but it just seemed so forced in the first two episodes that i never gave it another watch.

theres a lot of little things to love about it....like the location shots of LA....reminded me of watching a tarantino movie....i feel like after watching seven seasons of the shield that I once lived in that city

the action scenes are just wonderfully filmed because of the docu style its shot in....the gun battles the home invasions car chases etc

its similar to the wire in that almost every character on the show is not defined as good or bad....its just people being both good and bad at times

there are so many amazing endings....not just the show finale which is off the charts....but so many individual episodes were whoa moments and almost every season ender was awesome...im so glad I binged watched because that would have been a tough show to have to have waited a week or a year to see the next one

the acting is excellent for the most part...its tough to balance this opinion with what im gonna say next but somehow they pulled it off

but trust me you have to get past what you are talking about...its incredibly over the top in your face and lets be honest straight up corny at times....but if you can get past that its really really good...I know this will be in the very small minority but I liked it significantly better than breaking bad

remember the shield went for 7 seasons....i imagine watching it season to season it probably felt like 10 years.
