All kidding aside I literally have no idea what that is.

If 197 is a good score, good work, dude.

The local news' coverage of that damn "ebloa" has jumped the shark

They're disposing of the waste from the dude who died in Dallas in Galveston. So all local channels have reporters on the ground with LIVE shots of....

A tractor trailer backed into a loading dock.

"There is the truck that hauled the Ebola waste from Dallas. Let's hear from local residents on how they feel about this disease invading their town!"

General_Failure

Build a fence around the dock to keep these illegal diseases out.

And the navy should probably just go ahead and torpedo that cruise ship. Can't let it come back into Galveston.

What a joke. I've gone from thinking it could be serious in the early stages to marveling at the coverage. Arkansas hospital locked down because someone who traveled to west Africa went there to be tested. Two schools closed in central Texas because two kids were on the same plane as the nurse. TSA agent who patted the nurse down placed on a three week leave.

Well in that case everyone start coughing on Agent Jellyfinger so flying isn't such a pain in the ass anymore.

can everyone in texas just get ebola (sorry j)
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

PhillyPhreak54

So yesterday I came down with fever during the day. Awful body aches and basically every flu symptom.

Three people told me I better go be tested for Ebola

General_Failure

Did you cough right in their big dumb faces? I hope you did.

if i drink the blood of someone with ebola, will i get ebola?

Of course.

I even described my explosive squirts for them too. Figured I needed to play it up

Eagaholic

I want to wash down 2 or 3 boxes of exlax with beet juice and some hot sauce and go to the ER on Halloween as an Ebola patient. That would would be fun.

hbionic

At this point, it's still legal to yell 'Ebola' in a movie thearter, right?
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

The Praxis tests are the tests teachers have to take to get their certifications. All the teachers have to take the Praxis I, which is basically another SAT, and then each subject has certain Praxis II tests that you have to take to get certified, depending on the state and their requirements. There's multiple social studies praxis tests, but I took the most widespread one that virtually all the states require. And it is apparently one of the hardest Praxis II tests out there is from what everyone told me and I was able to pull off a 197 out of 200 on it, so I'm really happy about it. It doesn't mean too much as far as I know, I don't think schools hiring look too hard at the score itself, but I scored high enough to gain "highly qualified" status which will help, as a lot of schools do look for teachers that at least have that distinction.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Eagaholic

197 out of 200 sounds pretty impressive then, great job. Plus not too many teachers can put rape basement on their resume either.

Munson

Seems like a lot of teachers lately seem to wait until after they're teaching to tack that achievement on :paranoid
