Ray Rice is a piece of shtein but it's kind of bullshtein that he got his 2 game punishment (fair or not) and the league can arbitrarily change it based on video of an event they already knew happened.  it was in the charge that he knocked her unconscious in the elevator.  so that fact was never in doubt and that got him 2 games.  now the video comes out and he gets another punishment for the same act.  the nflpa should be fighting that but they won't because it's not good PR for them, but that's what they are there for.

ice grillin you

the nfl changing their minds (regardless of the reason) and suspending ray rice for the year (or longer) should not even remotely make you upset or be one of the things you call bullshtein on in this story......good god

in fact its the only thing they have done right

technically, it's not right at all.  they gave him a punishment, and then when video came out of something they already knew they gave him another punishment.  how can you get punished for the same act twice.  obviously nobody cares because it's a guy who punched his wife and no one is going to defend him but just arbitrarily increasing punishment because you feel like it is bullshtein.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

plus the nfl by-passed the newly implemented 6 game suspension for a 1st time offender.

the indefinite suspsion was not handed down to show that the nfl cares, it was purely done for PR reasons.

he didnt get punished twice...he got additonal punishment

but either way why anyone would pick that of all things as a bone of contention in this scandal is mind boggling to me

You guys upset about the NCAA vacating JoePa's wins too?

My point is that arguing procedural technicalities when wife-beating/child-raping is the context is farging insanity.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I cry like a little kid about that.

The man. The myth. The legend.

ice grillin you

forget about the nfl claiming to have not seen the video....or claiming to not have been able to obtain the video...or roger goodell interviewing the victim and the perpetrator together in the nfl offices...or the ravens disgusting presser...or the tweet laying blame on janay for the incident...or the original two game suspension

lets instead bitch about the additional time ray got....thats what keeps me up at night

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This doesn't fall into the category of upsetting to me. I don't have a problem with the punishment, per se. I just find it laughable watching everyone scramble to cover their asses under the farcical guise of "doing the right thing," when you know they don't give a shtein about anything other than trying to paint themselves in the best possible light.

SunMo

i'm not bitching about that dummy, and i've said that a few times.  i'm complaining about the random autonomy that the NFL has to just issue punishments willy nilly.

and lol at donte stallworth and ray rice getting the same punishments.

Pick a different example then. This one is not aiding your point, which is valid.

you think homicide and domestic abuse are on the same level?
