Seems that way. So long as you cite religious beliefs.

Diomedes

Right. Well then, I'll just be off to found a religious corporation now.

It only apparently is if it is a "christian conservative" organization. So don't forget that.

Ditch Diggers for God or something catchy.

And use the cross as the t in ditch.

I remember the day after Barry got re-elected.  I was thrilled.  I thought... cool, now he doesn't have to ever worry about being re-elected.  He can put his foot in the asses of every last one of these right-wing iceholes.  It's 2 years later.  It's time for him to go to war with the fargs in this country who want it to be a christian version of farging Iran.  The gutless weasels in his own party refuse to fight and the iceholes on the right just sit back and laugh while the five pieces of shtein on the Court gleefully dismantle 60 years of progressivism.

The Tea Party dicks are right about one thing... this is war.  It's go time for those of us who don't want to live in a country where state-dictated religion is crammed down our throats; or where corporations dictate our daily lives.  Enough is enough.

So I'm obviously out of the politics loop at the moment, but I figured Hobby Lobby was some kind of nickname for a group of lobbyists or something, not an actual farging craft store.

You should all join me in the third world and say farg it.

So if I'm the religious whacko owner of a closely held corporation, can I now refuse to pay for blood transfusions?  Or for immunization?  Can I decline to pay for treatment of STDs to homosexual employees?

No, the decision was extremely narrow and the justices made sure they wrote out that this decision is only for birth control.

Which makes zero sense, IMO. But really, it's about men having no idea what birth control is or does.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Paypal screwing more people over under the pretense of possibly illegal transactions. Really loath this company.

They're not great. One of these days I need to take down that paypal button, but if I'm doing that I might as well do a dozen other things around here. Until then, please don't click it. I'll almost surely never get the money.

Sure, just leave it in the usual spot along with the name of the target.

Navy pins first female four-star admiral, SD stomps hat in impotent rage

QuoteVice Adm. Michelle Howard is now the first female four-star admiral in the Navy's 236-year history.

The promotion ceremony took place Tuesday morning at Arlington National Cemetery. Howard will assume duties as vice chief of naval operations, the service's No. 2 officer.

Howard graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1982. In 1999, she became the first African-American female to command a ship—USS Rushmore (LSD 47)—for the Navy.

Okay you motherfargers.  No you may not speak to the "lady of the house."  I need new boots.

Japanese politician calls wartime sex slaves 'necessary'

QuoteJapanese officials have distanced themselves from comments made by a prominent nationalist politician that suggested women forced to become prostitutes to entertain Japanese troops during World War II were "necessary."

Toru Hashimoto, who serves as the Mayor of Osaka, told reporters at his weekly press conference Monday that "anyone would understand" the role of "comfort women" when soldiers were risking their lives and you wanted to give them "a rest."
