Geo, you may want to make that a habit this summer.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QuoteIf Brown keeps hitting home runs, he'll start seeing more pitches out of the strike zone. That in itself could lead to more walks. Sometimes the "sabermetric" approach isn't really about an approach but earning respect from pitchers. Maybe that will happen with Brown; or maybe he just had a Ty Wigginton-like fluke month.

I laughed for an hour.

I hope Schmidt's comments spring board Rollins to the HOF. Compared to other SS he's definitely worthy. Add in a league MVP and World Series championship and he should get in.

PhillyPhreak54

Jimmy is indeed a HOF. Someone should get Schmidt on WIP to repeat that and stick it up Cataldi's

Jimmy and Chase are both borderline.  2-3 more good years (I know that's unlikely) from each would help their cases immensely.

What other shortstops? The only modern shortstops who are in the HOF are Cal Ripkin, Barry Larkin, and Ozzie Smith. Jeter will be in.

If Jimmy's career is comparable to those careers when he hangs 'em up, he'll have a shot at the Hall of Fame. If not, he won't.

Sorry to say this, but spoiler alert: he won't.

rollins is not a hall of famer.

the others are.  he's like vizquel or trammell.  very good but not cooperstown material.

sorry homers.
