if there's gays with aids, jews being killed by nazis or blacks being whipped or shown as domestic servants, it's a guaranteed win.

it's science.

Black people with AIDS will be ignored, however.

So the latest thing is people down here making a big deal of McConaughey's mention of God and how "the goddamn soft ass libs were scared to clap" at the mention.

One of my favorite comments seen on FB was "if he was a gay he would've gotten a damn standing ovation!".

Ignorant people.

For the record I believe in God and I'm certainly no republican but these people here are getting worse every day.

I watched Thor: The Dark World last week. All through it I kept wondering why I was watching a mashup of the worst parts of Attack of the Clones and Star Trek: Nemesis. What a waste of some good actors but exactly the kind of crap Kat Dennings should be doing.

I didn't really get the hiddleston hype post-avengers but he was really good in that.  Problem is the movie was pretty bad when he wasn't on screen.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

McConaughey belongs in the NFL.  Praise away Matty.

BTY, love his Brazilian Picanha!!

captain phillips - solid if not unspectacular. barkad abadi or whatever his name is was great for a first time actor. hanks commanding as usual. paul greengrass, like in united 93, took you to the moment and didnt get in the way. end scene sensational. 3/5

fruitvale station - wallace was off the reservation. how he didnt get a golden statue from the hollywood jews is beyond me. really well directed for such a simple movie (the first 2/3rds at least) and on such a low budget. i wonder what rome thought. 4/5

all is lost - liked it even more after i read about how all the yacht and sailing people hated because it was apparently unrealistic. was more of an art project than a movie at times, some of the cgi was bad since they shot the entire thing in a massive pool in a studio. but redford, man oh man is he dreamy. 3/5

It's pretty rare that I am completely surprised by a movie but I watched "We're The Millers" today and it was absolutely hysterical.

I busted out laughing at least a dozen times.  Funniest movie I've seen in forever.   Holy shtein.  Even Jennifer Anniston was great.

A+ all the way.

Gravity was good but Sandra Bullock's character should have been played by literally anyone else. She was good enough to not ruin the movie but you never lost track of the fact that you were watching Sandra Bullock. Like I never for one second thought of her as her character, just as Sandra Bullock playing a character. Anyway, obviously it would have been a much better experience seeing it in the theater and it didn't match my expectations going in, but it was intense and terrifying and gorgeous and only 90 minutes long.

Also saw Trance, which was directed by the god Danny Boyle and featured lots of naked Rosario Dawson but really wasn't all that great. Got way too clever at the end despite the fact that you could see some variation of 'the twist' coming from a mile away. Anyway, yes Rosario Dawson. Yes yes yes.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

This is pretty much all I need to hear these days to sell me on a movie. Why does everything have to pretend they are an epic or something and go 3+ hours.  i've put wolf of wall street on several times, see the 180 min running time, then grunt and turn it off.
