God damn the Oscars sucked.  Boring as I've ever seen.  Was the teleprompter controller on their smoke break the entire show?  Never seen so many goof ups by presenters.

Agreed on Gravity - it was ok but I didn't think it was awesome. The thought of floating in space is terrifying and it was tense at times but nothing I'd watch again.

I also watched Captain Phillips and enjoyed that.

I saw Captain Phillips a few weeks ago.  I downloaded a torrent that didn't have subtitles, so I missed on some dialogue.  I enjoyed it overall, but I thought Tom Hanks was incredible at the end, when he was breaking down as he was being examined.
