22nd pick in every round except the 6th (NE) and possibly the 7th (TB if that pick was given up in the Benn deal).  They also have NE's 5th from the Sopoaga deal

chip kelly's offense would be better with a qb who isnt a complete statue is a fact...not an opinion

Not to pick on you, but again, you say this based on what?

This is the first year and the first time that Chip has run his offense in the NFL and not only is it NOT the same as the one he ran in Oregon (by his own admission) but it set all sorts of records with Foles at the helm.

I can't help but wonder what more some of you guys are looking for.

the fact that he cant even begin to run the read option...or a rollout...or a boot....or anything beyond a 3-7 step drop

im not begging them to ditch foles. i think they can win with him. but its impossible watch this offense and not wonder what it would be like if they had someone with legs who didnt completely suck (i.e. vick)
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Is Foles going to replicate this season's stats? Highly unlikely.

But he showed beyond any doubt that he can be a starting QB in this league. With additional seasoning and coaching he will just get better. The small things like when to bail on a play, when to not take sacks, etc will be learned with time.

No one can say with certainty that Chip would dump him for someone else.

I am disappointed with the result yesterday because I believed if they made it past NO then they were going to beat CAR and then who knows what happens if they end up hosting SF if they took out SEA.

But despite the disappointment and gnawing anger of losing that game this season was still successful because no one thought this year would play out like it did.

What kills me is Foles is the reason this mediocre team caught fire at the midpoint of the season, but hey, let's get someone else in here because whoever that is he has to be better.

What they need is a better defense, a better field goal kicker, etc.

That makes no sense. The read option is a play, like the screen passes, not a staple of the offense and not the offense itself. And they've run it all year long with Foles. They scored a TD on it in the game yesterday! Collinsworth was yapping about it during one of the few times I didn't have the TV muted.

The offense is more than fine just the way it is. They had the top rusher and the top passer in the league with the offense, and were 2nd in the league in total offense only behind the "score a million points per game" Denver Broncos.

Wondering how someone else might do is one thing, but your "Fact" is completely a facet of your imagination. There's nothing wrong with the offense as it is.

Really! I'm so glad that fans have no bearing on the decisions made for this team. I can't believe some people actually want to get rid of Foles (not so much here but I've seen that in more than a few places).

I gotta say that...even though we lost yesterday (we, otherwise you wouldn't feel so pissed off)...this is upcoming season is one of the few in recent memory that I will be amped up and excited for its start. So many things to build on...holes we can identify...Free Agency, the Draft...this team showed it had better than a puncher's chance. With some luck, and a healthy season...I think we can realistically declare this team Superbowl eligible this upcoming season.

I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

honestly i dont know how you could move on from him after the season he had...because there is no guarantee you will get someone better....what probably will happen is that foles will regress...something that is pretty much guaranteed and then you look for the better fit in 2015...if chip is even here then...

you have to remember that foles had a magical year from his offensive line where the starting five basically played 100% of the snaps...that will never happen again...three of them are 32 years old or older...all it would take is for one or two of them to go down and foles is in trouble as he is terrible against any pressure because of his inability to move away from it and his weak arm which doesnt allow him to throw threw it

you can make the argument that they will never have a more healthy season than they had this year...odds are next season it goes the other way in terms of health...also they had a nice schedule this year....they only beat one team that made the playoffs and that was green bay without arron rodgers...a sizable regression is due for the team as a whole next year...luckily the division looks to be weak again...soecuaking of the schedule here are the 2014 out of division opponents....

It would be pretty laughable if they moved on from Foles at this point. He's proven, at the very least, that he's not the problem. It's not like this team doesn't have legitimate holes (see: secondary) and can afford to worry about replacing the guy who was one of the league's best QBs this year by just about any measure. I'd like to see them bring Maclin back, though not at any cost. A reliable kicker would be great. And while the defense improved over the season, they still don't inspire confidence. That side of the ball still needs a ton of attention.

A sizable regression is due for the team next year? I don't think so. It will be Chips second year, and Foles should be the number one starting the season getting all the snaps in pre season. Make the D better in the draft and with Maclin coming back I think this team can get better.

Zanshin

The Maclin return isn't a sure thing, though I think it makes sense for both sides at least on a short-term deal to prove he's past the injury. That said, you can't know exactly what you're getting there and I think they'd have to plan accordingly.

phillycrew

IGY is right about the good fortune the team had with health on the O-line and Shady.  I think this is a very shallow team but I like the direction that the coach is taking the team but we need a solid draft/FA period.

I would love to see Maclin in this offense but I agree to not break the bank.

i will be shocked if foles doesnt take a step or three back next year....but even if that doesnt happen the team as a whole could actually be better and have a worse record with that schedule....and yes i know its really early to be talking schedules but i dont think its a reach to say that its going to be substantially more difficult next year

my offseason wish list:

1. stud wr in the draft with size
2. pass rusher
3. DT
4. OL depth and/or a young replacement for herremans

the biggest offseason question to me is how good is earl wolff going to be...they need a strong safety so bad and it cant be overstated how important it is for him to become a player...because in theory you arent going to draft one high or spend a lot on one in FA if you believe hes the answer...however if you dont bring a day one starter in from the outside and wolffman flops its a gigantic setback
