Week 13: Eagles, Cardinals, Turkey

Most impressive thing about Foles is what he's doing with the talent he has to throw to. Jackson is a top 10 WR, Cooper is a 3rd/4th on most teams, and Avant is pretty much done. Ertz is a rookie with some talent. Celek is toast. The O-line has been pretty good in pass protection during his run but it's not like he has a pro bowl caliber receiving corps to work with.

Nick Foles is a golden God 19td 0ints. The fact that we are even discussing whether or not he is good enough for chip is crazy. Is there going to be a new thread? the cards were destroyed two days ago.

Eagles don't have that type of luck where a 2nd or 3rd round QB drafted specifically to take over as the franchise QB to pan out. Remember: Snake.Bitten.

Lol @ wasting a top 3 pick on a QB at this point. Bring back Vick as a cheap veteran. Take a flyer in the 5-7th on a QB if need be because Barkley is worthless in the NFL. The Eagles should fire the top 3 picks on CB, S, LB, DE, OL. Take the most talented guys out of those 5 catagories. Don't tell me OL isn't a need. It's always a need. Reid's biggest mistake in his career as eagles coach was waivering from constantly drafting new OL in April 2010.

Lol @ wasting a top 3 pick on a QB at this point. Bring back Vick as a cheap veteran. Take a flyer in the 5-7th on a QB if need be because Barkley is worthless in the NFL. The Eagles should fire the top 3 picks on CB, S, LB, DE, OL. Take the most talented guys out of those 5 catagories. Don't tell me OL isn't a need. It's always a need. its stupid to ever take a qb past the 3rd round....brady is the obvious exception but id bet in the last 20 years there has been less than three good qb's to come out in  rounds four and on....

brunnell is the only one i can think of

Undrafted you have Kurt Warner, Tony Romo, Jeff Garcia... Jake Delhomme before the wheels came off. It's hard to predict how most QBs will perform in the NFL (which is why the number of early round busts is huge), you're pretty much better off signing guys off the street than wasting a late pick.
