That article should be post #1 for our yearly laugh at the Skins thread.

A few weeks before Sean Taylor was killed there was a thread on ES about how bad he was in coverage, how he'd bite on play fakes, and how he needs to step up. A few weeks later he gets killed and he's Ronnie Lott.

I missed the end of the game, but any taterskins fan bitching about the call really needs to take a second look at Fred Davis' drop, and Garcon handing the ball off after catching it on 4th down.  Tripplet always has zesty crews, but that happens during games all the time.  It was bad timing as far as the end of the game, but they had the chance to fight thru the call, and failed twice.

Oh come on. The fans are right to bitch. Knowing the down could easily affect what plays you run, and the timing couldn't be more critical. I'm enjoying it because it's the Skins, but that is a huge farg up by the officiating crew. It's not an excuse for losing the game, but it was a big, possibly game-changing error, and I would be furious at the officials if that had been the Eagles.

Of course any fan who thinks there is a conspiracy against the taterskins needs to take medication. If there really is an anti-Skins conspiracy, Danny Snyder must be heading it up because their front office is the main thing hurting their team for the last decade.

In other Skins news, I enjoyed the Giants trying to stir up some more anti-RG3 shtein in the papers today:

"We thought going into the game the cowbell was Alfred Morris," Giants middle linebacker Jon Beason said. "You look at when he has a big game vs. when he doesn't have a big game, even when RG3 has a big game, they don't do too well. He's the guy that makes them go."

The Giants took the player they consider most integral to Washington's offense and made him a non-factor. Morris had 11 yards on nine carries in the first half. He finished with 26 yards on 11 carries in the contest.

the game changer was garcon being a little bitch and giving up the ball....if that doesnt happen there isnt even a peep about the ref mix up

I don't see what the problem is, they were clearly done in tribute. I'm 1/16th radio station on my grandmother's side, and I didn't find it offensive.
