I cook asparagus the exact same way only I use a Weber with charcoal.   I use olive oil and parmigiano-reggiano on it and it's freaking delicious.

The Juan Valdez stand in the Wanamaker Building farged up my non-toasted poppy seed bagel with butter on 2 occasions.

The first time, they gave it to me & said they didn't have butter. I handed it back & said use cream cheese. He handed it back & said they are out of cream cheese. I handed it back & said give me my $1.10 back, then her got all pissy.

Today I asked for it non-toasted, then watched him put it in the toaster. He took it out & handed it to me without butter. I had to ask for butter & he tossed some butter pads on the counter for me.

I hate to sound like a little bitch but it is a farging bagel with butter, that's it. If you can't do that without farging up, then you need to jump in front of a bus.
