They're going to milk this group until they're dry and pray some minor leaguers pan out for the future. As long as they're somewhat relevant they're turning a profit which is the bottom line. Realistically if they would have added more than Mike Adams to the pen I'd be a bit more optimistic they'd catch the Braves. Amaro was on the Fanatic the other day and was asked if he believes the Phils could play + .600 ball the rest of the way (which still doesn't guarantee shtein) his response was not as we're currently constructed because we need help in the pen. They'll add some arms at the deadline and at some point play half decent but we all know they're falling short. Only chance we have for them to sell is if they're 10 games under .500.

fox has a blackout policy for its broadcast window. from 7-10 only fox can air games. initially the phils scheduled around it but the rain out forced them to have a game that night. since fox isnt picking it up on this short notice, it cannot be on tv, as per the trillion dollar tv contract decided by a bunch of suits who dont care that someone may want to have a beer and watch their team play a ballgame that night.

this rule goes away next year btw
