lol at the guy yelling at Doc...you should've dumped a beer on him.

Did you tell Choke he was worthless? Tell Michael Young that you hate him?

MDS

they were taking bp and i was in the outfield

but i think choke knows he sucks and my surely knows he is a humongous waste of oxygen
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Don Ho

I've heard from everyone who has been to Petco that it is a great ballpark.  Just missed seeing the bums in SD in 06 by a week.  I was there during the All-Star Break so no games.  I'd love to see a game there.

How was the crowd?  50/50 Phils/Padres fans?

petco is amazing by the way. absolute must see.

I think it blows. Absolutely boring park with no baseball feel. Reminds me of a nice shopping mall.

its certainly better than the bank...basically feels the same but its in the middle of down town and not in the scuzz of south philly

to each his own, for the guy whos been there and the guy who knows everything despite experiencing very little

I know several people that I trust way more on things like this than you say that it sucks...and basically mirrored what sd said...so im leaning that way

stick to tv

Rome

They're recycling at Petco so of course SD hates it.

SD (the city) >>>>>>>>>> Philly.

SD

SD the city is much better than Philly...but holy shtein only a non baseball fan who's been to few parks would say Petco is comparible to CBP. Petco doesn't even rank in my top 10 parks and I've visited around 15

MDS

the bank is OK...i never got the hype for it

food is solid but its in such a dead part of town. and your view is a parking lot and a tower.

I prefer a large area to tailgate rather than a downtown park. I preferred Qualcomm because of the tailgating. Structurally Petco is blah unless you're into water falls and old warehouses that serve no meaning. The colors are so drab.

Don Ho

That is a good point, where the hell do you tailgate before a Padres game?  It was all tiny municipal or insert quarters here parking lots downtown.  I guess the whole "experience" is go to the game then hang out in the gas lamp district after.

Since we are on the subject of Southern California ballparks, Bionic may have covered this but has anyone been to the new remodeled Dodger Stadium?  I guess they did some more work on it this past off season.

bwahahaha at sd being a better city than philly

socal as a whole is despicable

and who cares whats around a stadium....yay for overpriced bars and a chipotle

tailgating trumps all and a good phillie tailgate rivals that of some nfl stadiums ive been to....you can go into the city after the game

Yeah it's not like the sports complex is on an island in the middle of the Atlantic. Take the train or grab a cab and go into the city. It's not that damn far.
