this is the end - had its share of misses which will happen when you try and rip off two straight hours of jokes but holy shtein is this movie lol funny for much of the time....and at least three or four times i was literally crying it was so funny...i think i could watch these cats joan on each other for a ten hour movie and not get tired of it...such a cool premise with everyone playing themselves...danny mcbride stole the movie...go see it

Man Of Steel was too long with too much CGI bullshtein.   Very disappointing.   The actors weren't bad, though.  Costner, Amy Adams & Diane Lane were actually pretty good with the howler of a script they were given to work with.  The guy who played Superman was awful.  Elliott Stabler was pretty good in a minor supporting role.  I liked Russell Crowe as Jor-El but even he was too serious.   I think that was the biggest problem I had with it... the whole tone of the movie was too serious.

I'll go with a C+ and not really recommend it.

Superman is the worst of a lot of awful superheroes.   I had no interest in seeing that today but the family wanted to see it, so wtf.   It was either that or watch the Phillies.

Superman is the most boring superhero ever created. The 80s films were enjoyable because they were so goofy and self effacing with the bumbling Clark Kent parts being perfectly balanced against the silly action parts. On his own superman is vanilla, jingoistic tripe so getting it right is really farging hard.

Also I saw Jack Reacher and it was retarded. Slightly below average action fare, intellectually appropriate for a 12 year old.
