theres a difference btwn not caring about the result of the game and not talking about the games....i still dropped over 200 bucks on the package (altho to be honest i watch a lot of other games too) and i still watch 90% of the games...i just dont care if they win or not cause i know they arent going anywhere and they arent bad enough to get a top draft pick....they are just another in a long line of philly teams stuck in purgatory

The nice thing about the computer package is that you can always get both sets of TV announcers, and often both sets of radio announcers synced with the picture... I often just find good games and cut in and out. 

i got the computer package one year but i couldnt stand it...it was good for travel but i like to be able to go to any one of my tv's at any time and be able to hit the power button and have the games right there right away without having to move a laptop around and going to a website and whatever other hoops you have to jump thru to get your computer to come out of your tv

when you watch thru your computer how do you switch to other games....do you have to use your mouse or keypad and do it on the computer or once its thru your tv you use your tv remote like you would any other time?

they're not a good baseball team right now.  the outfield is atrocious, the bench is non-existent and "aces" have been putrid.  we get that.  there's not a single person here who doesn't acknowledge it either.  there's really no need to be reminded of it on page after page of this thread, especially when they're winning.

but they arent winning...they are under .500 with by far the easiest schedule in the majors

If you'd drop $70 on a bluray player (or had you upgraded to a smart tv) you can get the MLBTV app. Buy the package through them instead of your cable provider and get all the same perks of watching online without actually watching on your laptop.

i have a blue ray player....but if im watching the mlb package thru that i cant watch my other cable channels with out having to change the input on the tv can i...like would i be able to switch directly from a mlb game to nbc or espn?...i know now if im watching a movie or netflix on my blue ray i have to switch inputs...would it not the same with a baseball game?

I stream the mlbtv through my Xbox.   The quality is pretty much the same as watching it on TV now.  You just use the controller to go back and forth with games.

GRIT has turned over on the same breaking ball 20 times this year and grounded it weakly to second with a man on...but because its not a strikeout and hes a GRITty white dood everything is aok

choke annoys the farg out of me or i wouldnt have named him choke but those classic utley grounders are just as bad imo

When I was at a game a couple weeks ago he had two losses and a 0.00 ERA.

now 18 h/bb in 9 ip and a 2.89 era

p.s. only igy and i get the bigger picture in all of this. you guys are still suck in this endless win YES lose NO stage. as if it any of it matters. they are going nowhere and dont have any good young players to follow. its frankly boring being a phillies fan now. theres nothing interesting to even talk about.

oh look michael young grounded into a double play. phil aumont gave up a homer. cole hamels went 7 innings and gave up 2 runs. ok.

Sort of.  If your cable is set to input x and bluray is set to input y, then leave your cable box powered on and set to whatever channel you want to watch and switch inputs back and forth.
