2013 Eagles Draft Pick Thread

i know everything points to the chiefs taking a tackle...and it also would follow the best player available rule but i dont understand the pick...none of these tackles grade out as elite and the chiefs already have a very good tackle in albert...i would be so mad if i was a kc fan this year having the #1 pick for the first time ever in a year with no HOF prospects at the top and the best players that are there would be a lateral move for your franchise

fwiw jaws said yesterday that he thinks if theres a qb andy likes that he will take him number one....said andy knows that position is the most important in sports and that he could take geno or nassib and let them learn for a year or two behind alex smith

according to mayock today fisher is elite and ranks both him and joekel the same.

fisher is still a work in progress hes certainly not elite

joeckel is a very good player but hes not an elite prospect like calvin johnson was or andrew luck was or any other of the truly top end guys weve seen come out in the past

I think if Reid had a high grade on any QB he wouldn't have traded for Smith.  I expect them to take a QB in rd 3/4 that he thinks he can grow like Bray or someone.

Mayock also said Lane Johnson has freakish ability and more upside that either of the two other tackles. I think it is just as likely he ends up an Eagle as any other player in the draft.

i agree with you but to play devils advocate one might say that the chiefs have yet to extend smith and if he was truly their qb of the future wouldnt they have done so after trading for him?...as of now he is only in kc thru next season...in other words a bridge to their true future signal caller

i think theres a good chance someone trades up to the raiders spot and takes him....which would be fine with me...not that id be against any of them but taking one of the tackles would be last on my list of wants

i only post this because mcshay is saying hes getting his info from people within the chiefs organization and kc has no reason to smokescreen but he thinks they will take fisher over the joker...he then has jordan to the gus....chargers trading up to take the joker at 3 and the birds taking johnson
