Eagles might not return to Lehigh. Thoughts? I'm hoping for somewhere closer although Lehigh is a reasonable drive.

if its not lehigh its ging to be novacare and not open to the public so im all for keeping it up there

I called that somewhere after Kelly was hired. I can see him trying to keep his practices private. The Novacare would be an ideal place but a lot of coaches like to get their players the hell out of dodge so they're only focused on playing ball. That's why Lehigh is ideal, there ain't shtein else to do.

Except wave your dick at a waitress, but that's not as popular as it used to be.

If Lurie lets that happen it will be the worst PR hit of his tenure. He will be roasted and he will deserve every ounce of it.

They're unique in being one of the few teams still to have it in an open setting and that means something.

It means a long drive out to the middle of nowhere for sunburn and overpriced merchandise.

i would def prefer they are open practices and if they are at lehigh i will def go but i think you lose a lot of the appeal with andy gone because he ran such physical practices that included lots of hitting that simulated a real game more than probably any coach in the league....add on top of that the restrictions the league put in last year and its just not the same anymore

Yeah but the fanbase is one of the best in the league. We turn out for special teams portions up there. Put the team out there people will come.

You'd miss out on hazing the newbies by locking them in a dorm room with the ghost of Garrrett, so now I'm all for them keeping camp there.

McLane:

QuoteThere's already a rumor brewing in certain NFL circles that Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been crunching the numbers and putting together an offer to bring the 27-year-old Revis to Philadelphia.

Others around the league aren't buying it. Why would Roseman give up a high draft pick, probably another next year, and sink at least $12 million a season into a player who is only six months removed from tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee?

And then there's the been-there, screwed-that-up argument after the Eagles signed Nnamdi Asomugha two years ago, a disaster that could ward off any team from acquiring high-priced cornerbacks.

But Revis is not Asomugha. He's two years younger than Asomugha was when the Eagles signed him in July 2011. He's more versatile. And he's much better.

So #35 and a conditional 2nd or 3rd next year would be the likely deal

Big time pass. If I'm a playoff team who needs a cb to put me over the top it's a no brainer...but this team ain't close.

yeah hell no

im not even sure if you are trying to win this year would you give that up for him...he very well may need a year to get back to playing at an all pro level...if he ever does

I'm a fan of injured players who want new contracts every 6 months.

id take him--in 3 years when (cross your fingers) the eagles are in some kind of contention for something, he'll still be the best if not one of the top cover corners in the league...and considering how many 1st through 3rd rd farg ups roseman will make in the next 3 drafts hes worth the risk
