It's definitely better than any other chain, but that still doesn't make it good.  I'd never pick it over a good mom and pop joint, but if I'm standing in an intersection with Applebee's, Ruby Tuesday, Cheesecake Factory and Dave and Busters on each corner, then I'm going in Cheesecake Factory.

yeah nothing is worse than applebees but rubys is way better than cheesecake if just because of the salad bar

the first time i was ever at cheesecake i laughed my ass off when i opened the menu...it literally had like 400 entrees on it...thats all i needed to see to know that it was going to be a catastrophe

Ruby does have a decent salad bar.  Forgot about that since I don't frequent any of those joints.  Nor do I frequent salad bars.  I don't think you do either.

i love a good salad bar

and i occasionally hit chain restaurants when i have to...meaning a family member of my girl wants to go...when i go tho i always order just an appetizer and usually a quesadilla or wings if the place has good lookin ones....i cant recall the last time at was at a chain and ordered an entree...1987 maybe

I've never been to a Cheesecake Factory despite one being close by. Their menu has the highest caloric items of all chains.
