He won't be 32 till December and has 5 more good years in him. How do you know he doesn't fit into Chip's offense? If Brady was the Birds QB don't you think he'd modify for him?

Dillen

No shtein they'd be running a different offense with Brady. This Rivers thing isn't even worth arguing over

no i dont...if brady was the qb they wouldnt have hired chipper....them going out of their way to re do vick and pay him minimum 7 million bucks to be the starter tells you all you need to know about what chipper wants at the position...his offense requires a mobile qb....i just dont see any wiggle room at all there....again as i mentioned the other day its why they hired him....to run his offense...not for him to become someone else

im also not a rivers fan....hes the bedwetter with a more accurate arm

No thanks on Rivers.  I doubt he finishes next season as the starter and I can all but guarantee that he's not going to be the starter in San Diego in 2014.  He's done.

Just for the record I wouldn't do it but I get the feeling the Eagles are going to make a move for a QB and was pondering some of the players they could get for the #4 and Foles. Gut instinct tells me Chip isn't the rebuilding type and he knows Vick isn't the answer either, so he's going to convince Howie to make a move for a QB.

I think this is the perfect time for Favre to come out of retirement.

It's not sexy, but I'd rather have Alex Smith over Rivers or pretty much any other veteran QB.  But I don't think Smith is all that so I'd really just rather see them go 2-14 this year and go for their franchise QB in 2014....whoever that may be.

SD

I want no part of Alex Smith, he's probably good enough to get them 7 or 8 wins and if that's the case I'd rather tank. I'm tired of mediocrity.

Rome

If Alex Smith has a great offensive line in front of him he's a Pro Bowl caliber quarterback.   I would take him in a hot minute before Foles, Vick or any of the other options including any QB in the draft.

QB Eagles

If the Eagles get 7 or 8 wins next year, Chip Kelly is a god. Y'all realize this team sucks bad, right?

He had a great O line in front of him 2 seasons ago in the NFCC and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. He was dreadful.

I see 5 wins next season regardless of who they add.
