I see your point of course, but the war is a big obvious tragedy that can't hide from the people that it has screwed. The Wall Street government thing has been and will keep farging us over for decades without most people even realizing that they have been stolen from. Lives have been and will keep being ruined. So no, it isn't the same as sending kids off to die in a war, but it's impact on our society is just as damaging.
