i think you're finding that with some in the fiscally conservative socially WGAF part of the republican party.  that wing of the party is getting increasingly alienated by the tea party/southern conservatives and is identifying themselves more as libertarian to avoid direct association.

I watched roughly 2 hours of the Hillary Clinton testimony about Benghazi this morning on C-Span. She handled herself extremely well. You'd think her testimony would put the whole Benghazi conspiracy crap to rest but no such luck. Why does she have to answer for the terrorist attack that caused 4 deaths but Bush/Rice/Rumsfeld/Cheney don't have to answer for 911?

The Iraq war was a disaster but the incestuous relationship of Wall Street and government is an issue that has impacted more people, will continue to impact more people and that less people seem to realize is screwing them. It's an assault of a different kind but we're all getting dicked in the process.
