How bad does a political party and the clowns who belong to it have to be when Chris Christie stands as their least objectionable member?

Seriously, Christie is a piece of shtein bully.  That hasn't mystically changed just because he slapped Obama on the back or because he ripped the GOP congressional leadership.    He's still a fleshpop and like every other Republican he should go back to private life where he belongs.

You're right about all of this but what separates Christie from the rest of the GOP right now is that he is attempting to solve problems in his state rather than simply attempting to push forward a right wing ideology, solving problems that don't exist, policing morality and shoving through laws that no one wants. We're so inundated with politicians who are obsessed with ideological purity that someone like Christie, even if you disagree with his politics, is refreshing. He's a bully and a blowhard but I genuinely believe that he thinks he's doing what's right, which is not the feeling I get from most pols on the right.

if you want to see one of the most frustrating interviews ever...check out mitch mcconnell on this week with george stephanopolous from yesterday morning. he doesn'tt answer a single question. he just says 'spending addiction' over and over. god bless george, you can see him getting annoyed but he holds it back.
