For the halibut, I gave Elementary a try. It isn't bad. The mysteries aren't done great, but the story is more about Sherlock getting over heroin.

The man. The myth. The legend.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Boardwalk is really good.

homekeeping with arlene ripley

sooooo good
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This weeks Boardwalk took a page right out of the sopranos

This 2 hour Eddie Murphy special on Spike is pretty good.

I just finished the last season of Dexter. Read no further if you're planning on watching it.

Weak! How do you follow a character (prof. Gellar) for over half the season only to find out he was a figment of Travis's warped mind. So half of what I watched didn't really happen. Stupid, too friggen' complicated for what was a great show. It could have been a good story line, but three episodes from the end one of the main characters wasn't even there, he was dead three years prior. WTF? Also, Deb's character is getting way too complicated, emotioinally distraut and nearing a complete breakdown for the last three seasons, now she's running the show at Miami Metro Homocide, and wants to screw Dexter. Yeah, right. Also, Dexter operates with the whole homocide department running at his heels, and the only time they catch up too him is when Deb walks in right as he's killing Travis. yeah, right again. Floating alone in the ocean? No problem, just wait for a boat load of Cubans. Your son is held by a serial killer who wants you to inject yourself with animal tranx? No problem, you have a spare handy that will have no effect. Not to mention your sons teacher had no problem with Travis in a lions mask walking out of the school with your kid. He was only half as thick, five inches taller and wearing different clothes. Imo, the writers have gotten' away from what made the show great.

Gonna' have to really be good next season. I wonder what kind of crazy unbelieveable crap they'll come up with to keep it going. It would be totally nuts to think that Deb will keep Dexters secret.

Next season is going on right now, 6 or 7 episodes in. It's okay, but getting pretty ridiculous. This season has been pretty much "oh, here's a coincidence. And here's fifteen thousand more."

SunMo

it wasn't complicated at all, it was pretty obvious from the start
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.
