Looks like lot of us that were waiting for a World War Z movie...are going to have to keep waiting.

The movie's still getting released in June...it's just not anything at all like World War Z.

It's a high budget zombie flick though, so it'll still be entertaining.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

A direct rip from the book would make for a really boring World War Z movie, so that's good.

It should be done mini-series, Band of Brothers style, on HBO or Showtime or something like that..would make it much more doable in the style of the book.

Hell even I'd even be okay with AMC and their limited budget.

We Bought A Zoo - I know Hollywood always strays away from the true story when making a movie based on actual events, but nothing about this movie seemed even remotely realistic other than the part about why he bought the zoo in the first place....wife died, he's raising his 2 kids alone and wants to make a dramatic change in his life so he decides to buy a zoo. I can buy into that but everything else about the movie seemed horribly fake and the story had as much character depth and development as a lifetime movie.  But Scarlett Johansson is in it and looks smoking hit, so at least it has something going for it.

Red Dawn?  Are you farging kidding me?  Hollywood is about as creative as Andy Reid.  The original was aueright, nothing great but descent.  For the love of God why do it again?  North Korea this time.  Kim Jong Ill this.
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Did you actually go see it or are you just making an observation about how awful it's getting in Hollywood?  If you actually saw it in theaters, then lol @ you.  You got what you deserved.
