Amen.

what i really like about it is how your envelop and ballot are barcoded and you can go online and follow it thru the process

no the greatest thing ever will be when i go to vote down here and try to count how many confederate flag bumper sticks i find at the polling place.

oh lord

tucaloosa itself isn't that bad.  you get a lot of fargtards dressed like they're going to their highschool prom when they go to the games, but the town itself seems like it could exist really in any region.  but it's like a small oasis in a sea of deliverance.  go 2-3 miles outside of the town and you may not come back.

either next year or the year after i am going to go to montgomery and then drive from there to birmingham and then to nashville....when i first decided to do it i was thinking about how crazy the in betweens of that trek would be

montgomery sucks.  unless you have a reason to, if you're making that drive, i'd hit up huntsville instead of montgomery before you get to nashville if you want a cool part of alabama to go to.

birmingham has some pretty cool places but they aren't as apparent as they would be in other cities.  it's like an hour drive from tuscaloosa and i try to head there once or twice a month to get out of the bubble i live in.  if you want a real scary drive, i went to the beach for a weekend this summer and you have to go west before going south.  it takes you on this one lane road which keeps crossing back and forth into mississippi, and it's for like 4 hours.  that was the scariest most depressing shtein i've ever driven through until you got to mobile.  at least in between birmingham and tuscaloosa you have some people who live in the middle and just drive to work.  when you talk about nowhereville western alabama/eastern mississippi, you are lucky to find someone with teeth.

but seriously if you make that drive during football season next year and you want tickets to a game, hit me up.

Second vote that Montgomery sucks.  All of Alabama sucks but Montgomery is just the deepest part of the suck.

im going to montgomery to visit the southern poverty law center...thats pretty much the reason for the whole trip...we talked about going to tuscaloosa for a game as my girl is a bama fan and id love to see a game there but because its out of the way of going to nashville we decided wed just go straight to nashville for a flyers game - schedule permitting

however can you get tickets to any game...like even a conference game?....that would definitely change my mind...or would it be against texas southern

makes sense.  we had the guy who runs it come and talk last year.

yeah i can get tickets to any conference game so long as you're up for sitting in the student section (they have student guest tickets) and it's a reasonable number that you need.  they play Ole Miss, GSU, Arkansas, Tennessee, LSU, and Chattanoga at home next year.  The LSU game would probably be the most expensive of the group, but if you wanted to go to Tennessee or Arkansas or Ole Miss I can probably grab the tickets for around $70 a piece (as a guesstimate).

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
