Like MY new cell phone, clowns?

Suck it.

I'm not from Philly but some say I'm blunt.

Google <aps is largely useless on the iPhone anyway. If I need to get somewhere, I have to use waze for turn by turn directions.

Plus, I'm in no rush to upgrade to iOS 6. And as long as I stay on 5.1, I can keep using the mediocre Google Maps app.

Waze is the shtein. Better than Garmin.

SunMo

i use waze but it's not great.  you have to really stay on top of it to make sure it's not farging you on a route
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Rome

I heard it adds an additional 10% in Apple smugness, though.

General_Failure

That's impossible, there's no way you can fit in that much more smug.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Unless your phone is jailbroken and you've got some software that basically makes a copy of the previous iOS, you're screwed.

When I had my 3Gs, I believe it was iOS 4.something that did the same thing to my phone.....absolute battery suck which after just a few months forced me to upgrade because my phone wouldn't stay powered on while I was using it.  Can't say I was pissed about it because I was itching to upgrade anyway, but wasn't going to do so as long as my phone was working just fine.  But the lesson learned from that is not to download the newest iOS until reading a bunch of user reviews to see what the glitches are and Apple's response to them, especially if you're downloading an iOS that's not specifically designed for your phone.  iOS 6 is designed for iPhone 5, so upgrading to it on your 4 is sucking the battery dry because the processor in your phone probably isn't powerful enough to handle the newest software.

Rome

Yeah, not upgrading if I can avoid it.  SD isn't the first person I've heard bitch about it either.
