in all the bitching about the refs by the ravens they fail to bring up how Celek got hit in the chin with the crown of the ravens' helmet and there was no call
Thats because Benard Pollard died on the next series.

Also, Celek getting up after that shot was awesome.

More Raven bitching...

QuoteA couple plays, in particular, frustrated Ravens players. The first was the Michael Vick fumble that was overturned on the Eagles' game-winning drive. It seemed that Vick's arm was going forward as he tried to throw the ball away, but Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis didn't see it that way.

"The ball was already coming out, the ball was shaky. He tried to push the ball, but you can't push the ball if the ball is fumbled," Lewis told the team's Web site, adding that you could watch the play 1,000 times and see the same result.

"How can you overturn that? Once again, I believe if the regular refs are here that call doesn't get overturned."

Quarterback Joe Flacco took issue with the offensive pass interference call on Jacoby Jones that negated a touchdown against Nnamdi Asomugha.

"I think those guys were on us tight like that all game," he said. "And there was a lot of holding and grabbing going on out there, and I might sound like a little bit of a baby here, but for them to make that call I think was a little crazy. He didn't even throw a flag. He threw a blue beanie and then put his hands in the air, like offensive pass interference, come on."

More from Flacco:

"I felt like I threw a nine route to Torrey [Smith] earlier in the game and he was getting his helmet ripped off or at least ripped from the chest, there's nothing. Then later in the game when we throw a touchdown pass, there's a penalty."

I agree with that statement whole-heartedly.  The regular refs would not have overturned that call, because they wouldn't have called it a fumble in the first place.

yeah taht wasn't anywhere close to a fumble

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Lets talk about how Vick slammed RayRay's bitch ass to the ground, and he disappeared after that.

SD

Vick was getting hit late pretty much the entire first half. The announcers said "And Vick gets hit again" but it was always well after the play was over. Baltimore is a bunch of whiney bitches. Shut up and accept the fact that you lost.

Far and away my favorite moment of the game.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Thankfully, Vick fought against instinct and didn't drag Ray over to a Gatorade bucket to drown him.

The man. The myth. The legend.

damn, Kelce with a torn MCL and a partial ACL tear
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Seabiscuit36

You do forget that Kelce was only a second year player.  Guy fits in very well with Mudd's Scheme.

NFL.com says Dallas sucks:

QuoteThe Eagles came into the season without their starting left tackle, Jason Peters, and now must find a replacement in the middle of the line. Dallas Reynolds looms as the logical fill-in, but this is a staggering downgrade for the Eagles. Reynolds never appeared in an NFL game before this season, logging his time on the team's practice squad.

I didn't know Kelce was that good

A real bright spot for the D was not just the pressure but where it was coming from, which was up the middle. For that stretch of at least three 3rd and outs they were collapsing the pocket on most pass plays, not allowing Flacco to step up. Although they didn't get a lot of sacks it was a big reason why Flacco became so inaccurate and missed a number of open receivers, sometimes for big gains. When was the last time we saw from the DTs?

So I know dick about this dude, but NFL.com's reasoning is that he has never played in an NFL game, and therefore sucks? Good analysis.
